Scarce Austrian xenophobic Notgeld banknotes from 1920 issued by the Amstetten group (Austria) of the German-Austrian Protection Association Anti[emite League (Deutschosterreichischer Schutzverein Anti[emitenbund), issued in April 1920 in denominations of 10, 20, and 50 Heller, illustrated with images of seven liberal Austrian newspapers accused of being 'Judenpresse' (Jewish press) burning and quotes against Jews on the back, 'German of all parties..who have recognized the danger of the Jewry and want to fight it join the Schutzverein 'Anti[emitenbund'...read and distribute the Arian (Christian) press!', 'The aversion of the Germanic people against Semites is not based on the differences of religion but the difference of blood, race heritage...', 4 x 2.5 inches. The group was forbidden in 1933, but was allowed to exist due to the close affiliation to the NSDAP. Three pieces.
