THIRD REICH DEGENERATE ART POSTER
German WWII degenerate art teaching poster, page 62 from Alfred Vogel's portfolio 'Heredity, Pedigree and Race Knowledge in Pictorial Representation' (Rassenkunde in bildlicher Darstellung) which was used in German schools to teach 'Racial Science.' This poster shows a reproduction of German painter Otto Dix's artwork 'The War Cripples' which was shown in the 1937 degenerate art exhibition in Munich and has since disappeared. The plate is titled 'The Jew Falsifies German Art', 11.5 x 15.5 inches.
