Advertisement card made for Joseph Bardou & Son's cigarette papers translated to, 'I only smoke Nil', a brand of cigarette rolling papers, 8.5 x 12 inches. The brand Nil claimed to be 'tough as elephant's hide' hence an elephant was adopted as the spokes-animal for the brand. Mounted to cardboard with small hole at top margin for grommet ring.
