Manuscript: Excerpts from Sefer "Mishneh Torah L'HaRambam;" Yemen, 14th Century

Remnant pages from the sefer Mishneh Torah L'Harambam, Sefer Nezikin, written in beautiful Yemenite script, circa 1350.

It is well-known that the Yemenite Jews' copies of the Rambam's sefarim are the most reliable, as they are known for their meticulous and precise copying. Furthermore, since they accepted the Rambam as their leader, for generations the majority of their studying was done through his sefarim.

The title, "Chapter One", is written in large gold lettering.

Page 1: Includes the beginning of the laws of rotzeach excerpted from the list of mitzvos aseh and lo sa'aseh, through chapter 1, halachah 9.
Pages 2-3: Includes the laws of nezikei mammon excerpted from chapter 13, end of halachah 15, through chapter 14, middle of halachah 9.

Provenance: The estate of the late Rabbi Yosef Kapach
3 leaves (6 sides) | 16 x 24 cm | 23 lines | Good condition
