An Islamic Iron Lidded Casket with Arabic Inscriptions and Figural Motifs.
A finely crafted iron casket with an arched lid, standing on four elaborately shaped legs. The surface is richly decorated with intricate engraved panels featuring dense arabesque patterns, interwoven floral designs, and scenes of mounted figures in dynamic postures. The borders and lid are adorned with flowing Arabic calligraphy, meticulously inscribed in elegant script. A robust hinged clasp with a shaped escutcheon secures the front, while the top features a sturdy handle attached with ornamental fittings.
