A Pair of Islamic Glazed Ceramic Pawn Chess Pieces, Possibly 12th Century.
These two vividly coloured ceramic pawns feature a fluted conical form topped with domed finials, one finished in cobalt blue glaze with subtle encrustation and the other in a rare ochre and greenish glaze.
H: Approximately 4 & 4.5cm
