A Parcel Gilt Bronze and Polychrome Enamel Mantel Clock, China, 20th Century
With painted panels, encased in brass casing with tendrils on blue ground, three enameled columns with tiered knops on the top and bottom parts on each side, and surmounted by a trophy finial, the face plate bears Roman numerals for the hours, and Arabic numbers with interval of five minutes to tell time. A hand-painted scenery on a plaque is found on both sides of the clock.
