A SMALL ICON SHOWING THE KAZANSKAYA MOTHER OF GOD WITH A FINE SILVER-GILT OKLAD Russian, early 18th century (icon), Russian, Moscow, early 18th century (oklad) Tempera on wood panel. Two selected saints on the borders: Sts. Gerasimus of the Jordan and Theodore Stratelates. Overlaid with a richly chased and embossed silver-gilt oklad. Marked with city hallmark and master’s mark. Partially restored. 18.3 x 16 cm.
