AN 18 CEN CHINESE 18TH CENTURY FAMILLE ROSE BOWL
А Cantonese porcelain bowl with sophisticated enamel ornament in various shades. Inside and outside the bowl is richly decorated with floral and foliage motifs and alternating panels depicting birds fluttering in tree branches. In the 18-20 centuries, dishes for export were decorated with enamel in Guangzhou, which in Europe was known as Canton, whence came the name of Chinese porcelain dishes.
