Presentation Grade Model 1850 sword with decorated silver grip, gilt pommel and guard, excellent blade in perfect condition, etched and gilded, ricasso is marked W. CLAUBERG SOLINGEN and TOMES, SON & MELVAIN NEW-YORK, on the rib IRON PROOF is etched on a gilded background. Metal scabbard with gilded fittings. Complete with original period burgundy sash.
