A RUSSIAN ORTHODOX ICON OF JESUS PANTOCRATOR, 1890
Russian Orthodox icon depicting Jesus Pantocrator, the Lord Almighty, or Savior Jesus Christ hand-painted in egg tempera and gesso on wood panel. Features a gilt silver oklad. The oklad is struck with the Cyrillic maker's mark "N.S.", 84 Imperial silver standard, "A.R." mark and dated 1890. Housed in a carved wooden. kiot. Has a blacked out inscription on the verso.
