A RUSSIAN HANDCARVED GILT-WOOD FRAME DEPICTING IMPERIAL EAGLE, 19TH CEN.
A nicely carved gilt-wood frame in the shape of the Russian Imperial Eagle with a diamond shaped central cutout. While the wear to the gilt shows the signs of its age the piece remains striking and beautiful, making an imposing figure on the wall.

Condition: Frame is solid and intact. Most of the original gilt finish has worn away over the years leaving scattered remnants of gilding throughout the piece.
