A KORNILOV BROS RUSSIAN TEA SERVICE FOR THE AMERICAN MARKET
The lot is comprised of an ornate tea kettle, lidded sugar bowl, and creamer, with handles and spouts designed as horses' heads. The lot also includes six dessert plates. Each plate is decorated in the characteristic Kornilov pan-Slavic style and is marked underglaze with their bear mark and the text 'Made in Russia by Kornilow Bros. for Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co. Philadelphia' as well as the number 47.
