A SCARCE ITALIAN HUNTING DAGGER WITH SHEATH, 19TH CENTURY

A finely crafted Italian hunting dagger with a sheepsfoot style blade engraved with delicate scrollwork, also mounted with an ornate sculpted bronze hilt, including a guard with foliate quillons and a pommel shaped as a boar's head. The blade is kept within a black leather scabbard with embossed brass mounts.

Italy, 19th Century.
