Frederick Hurten Rhead Santa Barbara California 1910s Vintage Arts and Craft Pottery Decorated Ceramic Vase Very rare and stunning Frederick Hurten Rhead decorated vase with a colorful repeating design. Great design, color and composition. Minor factory craze lines to body. Bottom marked with stamped Rhead Santa Barbara logo. Vase is 2 1/4" tall and 4 1/2" wide. Rare, investment quality and estate fresh. While in California Frederick Hurton Rhead started his own pottery studio in Santa Barbara in late 1913 or early 1914. Operating until 1917, the Rhead Pottery produced ware which is now highly valued.Shipping: We are well known in the industry for the quality of our packing and shipping.
