Michtav Galui LehaRav…Avraham Shlomo Hirsch of Beregszasz [polemic concerning the Rabbinical position of Beregszasz].
In Hebrew and Hungarian. pp. 8. Creased and browned. Unbound. 8vo.

Haladas, Beregszasz (Berehovo): 1931.

Following the death of R. Shlomo Sofer (1853–1930), a dispute broke out between his son-in-law and the religious community of Beregszasz. The later felt that the young man was not suitably pious to take over the position vacated by his father-in-law, especially as he was known for associating with the Status Quo community. Nonetheless, out of respect for the family (the deceased was the son of the Kethav Sofer), a compromise was suggested, offering the appointment of Dayan. Yet this was seen as unacceptable by the other side.
