The 1935G series of $1 Blue Seal silver certificates was the first to introduce the "In God We Trust" motto on the reverse of the bill. As the motto was introduced toward the end of production, the "no motto" variety outnumbers the "with motto" variety almost 7 to 1. The 1935G "with motto" is the rarest of the standard 1935 $1 silver certificates, and the 1935H (which all carried the motto) is nearly as rare.
