2016 United States Mint Silver Proof Set; 14 pcs, about 1 1/2 ounces of silver . The 2016 Silver Proof Set contains 13 coins encased in three clear plastic lenses. All coins included in the set were struck at the San Francisco Mint. These beautiful proof coins are specially minted to feature sharp relief, a mirror–like background and frosted foregrounds. The quarters, half dollar and dime are struck in 90 percent silver, and includes, the annual release of five quarters in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program which are; Shawnee National Forest, Cumberland Gap National Historical Park, Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Fort Moultrie National Monument. A 90% silver Kennedy Half Dollar, and a 90% silver Roosevelt Dime. In addition the set contains, the ninth annual release of four coins in the Presidential $1 Coin Program which include Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, and Ronald Reagan. A Native American $1, A Jefferson Nickel and a Lincoln Cent. A beautiful mint issued set in the original packaging with the certificate of authenticity.
