Doron Akiva (born in 1986) is a figurative artist specializing in oil painting. Lives and creates in Tel Aviv.
His paintings depict intimate and emotionally charged moments of the human experience. Doron explores the tension between passion, romance, vulnerability and loneliness through form, atmosphere and symbolism, drawing inspiration from classical art to create emotionally charged works with a unique atmosphere. His unique painting technique combines different stains and textures, where his paintings are characterized by strict tonality and a minimalist palette.
