For the first time in KooKoo, Meet the artist Ronit Shahaf.
Ronit is an Israeli artist who graduated from the Midrash, she studied with Israel Hirschberg, Rafi Lavi, Tzivi Geva. Lives and creates in Kiryat Ono.
Her works are colorful and optimistic, full of details and subtleties that are gradually revealed. At the center of her work are the environment, the people and the events of everyday life, which she captures with a sharp eye and freezes the moment. 
She usually paints on huge canvases social gatherings full of color, figures, textures, fabrics and more.
Cafes and social gatherings is a recurring motif in her works with the emphasis placed on human interaction, at a point in time that she documents.
Ronit's works are characterized by attention to detail and high quality and reflect a living and vibrant world that invites you to enter it. The artist also uses the sides of the stretched fabric for painting.
