Louis XVI Style Bronze and Marble Mantel Clock
A Louis XVI Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Marble Mantel Clock, Late 19th Century. The circular enamel dial having Arabic numerals, the twin train movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell, the backplate with G. Megnin pastille.
Dimensions: Height 21in; width 12 3/4in; depth 5 1/4in.
Condition:
Roughness to edges of enamel dial. Wear, toning and rubbing to mounts overall and with varying quality of casting throughout. The marble with scattered small fleabites, roughness and chips to the edges. Dust in crevices. Lacking a bronze foot. With pendulum and winding key. We cannot guarantee the functionality and completeness of the clock's movement.
