A Pair of French Egyptian Revival Black Slate, Gilt and Patinated Bronze Garnitures, Second Half 19th Century.
Dimensions: Height 12 1/4in; width 5 3/4in; depth 4 1/2in.
Condition:
The pair of garnitures are made up. The black slate bases likely from a pair of candelabra. The gilt bronze figural busts likely from a pair of chenets/andirons. Glue residue visible to each. Typical wear, rubbing and toning to highpoints of metalwork. Minor chips and fleabites to slate. The gilt bronze figure's each with vacant holes to the reverse.
