French M 1765 Grenadier Infantry Saber
A French M 1765 Grenadier Infantry Saber, Late 18th / Early 19th Century with triple fuller blade. With 18th century characteristics, but likely of the Napoleonic era.
Dimensions: 36 1/2in.
Condition:
The blade with heavy wear , marks and toning, nicks. Wear commensurate with age and use. Appears to retain the original wire wrapped grip. Mounted with an early style triple fuller blade, the bottom 1/4 of the blade with incised celestial decoration. The sword lacking scabbard.
