This work is hailed as “The most magnificent nude of the century.” The simplicity of the composition defies the infusion of desire and transgression that abounds in this representative work. “The Beautiful Rafaela” (La Belle Rafaela) is a pivotal work in the career of Tamara de Lempicka, whose talent for representing women came from her enlightened knowledge of the superiority of feminine grace.

Certificate of authenticity bearing the Tamara de Lempicka Estate Crest, signed by Maria Krystyna 'Kizette' Lempicka Foxhall and acknowledged by ADAGP (formerly SPADEM).

Exhibition: Art Basel Miami (2017), Art Expo NY, Spectrum MIA, Modernism San Francisco, Modernism Miami, Villa Medici (1994), El Palacio de Bellas Artes, Mexico City (2009), Seoul Arts Center, South Korea (2016-2017)...

The campaign was started by Tamara de Lempicka before her death and carried on and finished by her only daughter Kizette, who worked closely with the publisher to create this line of limited edition serigraphs.
