A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN JAR AND COVER, 19TH CENTURY. Of baluster form decorated with ladies and children in garden scene. 31cm tall.
Provenance: From a local estate. Property of Navy Commander Henry W Jennings R.N. who was stationed in Sasebo Japan between 1946-48. Retired in 1960's and thence by descent. Areas of fritting to rim and foot rim. Two chips to edge of cover. No signs of repair.
