Henry Fugeré, Bust of Albert I King of Belgium
1st third 20th cent, signed H. Fugére on verso, bronze painted in cold colours, bust of the Belgian King Albert I. in uniform with military decorations, on cantilevered marble pedestal, recto decorated with round cartouche with inscription "Albert 1st" between laurel and oak branches, paint rubbed, base insignificantly bumped, h bust ca. 12 cm, h total ca. 18,8 cm. Artist's note: French sculptor (1872 St.-Mandè until 1944 Paris), exhibited in Paris salons from 1893, medals, figurines as well as pediment reliefs are known. Source: Cf.
