Early 20th century, signed "E. Battiglia", alabaster, elderly lady sitting on a wall stump, talking to a boy in a sailor suit, one hand professionally restored, minor bumps, h 41 cm. Artist info: Italian sculptor of the 19th/20th century, based in Florence, made alabaster and marble sculptures for the European market.
