Three small dachshund sculptures
including 1) small petschaft with dachshund head, early 20th c., cast metal brown and black painted, with screwable stand, partial paint losses, traces of age, h 6 cm, 2) standing dachshund dog, early 20th c., bronze brown patinated, on black onyx base, this one minutely bumped, slight signs of age, l total 11 cm, 3) Martin Meyer-Pyritz, bowl with dachshund, c. 1925, signed "M. Meyer-Pyritz.", bronze dark patinated, irregular bowl, on its rim a dachshund "males", partially minutely rubbed, h 15,5 cm. Artist info: German sculptor (1870-1942), Martin Meyer from Pyritz studied from 1892 to 1896 at the Academy of Arts in Berlin with Peter Breuer and Ernst Herter, from 1899 he worked in a studio at the Academy, exhibited at the Great Berlin Art Exhibition and also at the Munich Glass Palace, because of his successful animal sculptures he became known as "Tiermeyer".
