Two important books bound together.
1. Shut Rosh Yosef by Rabbi Yosef Ishkopa the Rav of Izmir (1570-1662) and one of its leading rabbis of all time, a disciple of the Mahara Sasson and a friend of Rabbi Chaim Shabtai, one of the leading Acharonim. Also famed for being the Rav of Shabtai Zvi and one of the first to ban him.
The first two leaves are missing (the title page and the printer's foreword), 38 leaves.
Moth and stains. Severe moth damage to the margins of the last leaves.
