Few Known, A Rarest Type Taino Game Ball
Largest example at 4 1/4" across, no other decorated ball has ever been found to be offered at auction. Untouched from burial. Perfect condition and this large one ranks up with the best. As written and speculated, such decorated ball court balls were carved and presented after the most important annual match post game , to the winning group or team. From our octogenarian consignor source. His Taino obtained 52 to 34 years back. All Taino from him are guaranteed and will be identified as to the source.
