Basic Book: Mishnah Berurah Section I - the First that was Printed First Edition Warsaw, 1884
First section of the first edition of the monumental halachic book Mishnah Berurah on Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim, by the Gaon Rabbi Yisrael Meir Hacohen of Radin author of the Chafetz Chaim, a book that changed the face of the study of Halacha and became an inalienable asset of the Jewish bookcase.
First edition - Warsaw, 1884. 151 leaves. Stefansky Sifrei Yessod 193. This section contains the approbation by Rabbi Chaim Eliezer Vaks Av Beit Fin of Piotrkow which was omitted from later editions being more a blessing than an approbation.
Original binding, partly detached. Taped spine. Stains. Some detached leaves. Dry leaves, slightly fragile paper. Several focused moth perforations. Taping to the title page. Good overall condition.
Varied stamps with Cyrillic script.
