Lengthy letter handwritten and signed by Maran Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook, the Chief Rabbi of Eretz Yisrael, addressed to Rabbi Yehuda Leib Hacohen Maimon - Jerusalem, 1922. 


The content of the letter: the Jubilee celebrations for rabbi Menachem Auerbach, one of the founders of the Chief Rabbinate  and grandson of Rabbi Meir Auerbach, author of the Imrei Binah. "בהשעני על אהבת התורה ואהבת א"י וירושלים עה"ק הבוערת בלבו, אבקש נא להשתתף מצדו ג"כ לדבר מצווה של כבוד התורה... של ידינו הרב הגאון ר' מנחם אויערבאך שליט"א והוקרת מפעליו אשר פעל בישוב הקודש, ולכבוד תורתו, ולכבוד זקנו הגאון האדיר בעל האמרי בינה ז"ל שהיה אב"ד דפה עה"ק ת"ו"

Rabbi Menachem Natan Note Auerbach, Rav of the Ruchama neighborhood of Jerusalem and one of the founders of the Chief Rabbinate was a close friend of Maran Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook. His son-in-law was Rabbi Shmuel Sonnenfeld, the son of Maran Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld Gaon Av Beit Din of HaEidah HaChareidit.
