Sefer Tehillim with the Chazah Zion Commentary by Rabbi Immanuel Hai Ricchi, the Mishnat Chassidim - First Edition in the Author’s Lifetime; Livorno 1742

"זה ספר חזה ציון ע"ד דוד הגדיל והוא פירוש פרד"ס על כל תיבה ותיבה של התהלים בדקדוק עצום.." by the gaon Kabbalist Rabbi Immanuel Hai Ricchi, the Mishnat Chassidim. The commentary appears around the chapters of Tehillim. First edition in the author’s lifetime. Livorno, 1742. 138, [2] leaves. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. An introduction by the author describing  his biography and giving the printer the right to publish his book. The title page features an engraving of the author’s symbol: a lion with wheat in his mouth.

At the end is an emotional rhymed Kina for the author's passing (apparently, the printing ended about a year after the date featured on the title page, after the author’s passing, or this page was added to the copy later), as well as words by the author’s son, Rabbi Avraham Shmuel, describing his father’s death at the hands of non-Jews abroad, and the mysterious dream that he dreamt in which it was revealed to him that he was a gilgul of the soul of the Tana Rabbi Yehuda ben Baba, one of the 10 Harugei Malchut

The Dayan Kabbalist Rabbi Raphael Immanuel Hai Ricchii (1687-1743) became famous for his work the Mishnat Chassidim, an important Kabbalistic book printed twice during his lifetime and then in many more editions. He was praised by leading rabbis He authored many other books including Aderet Eliyahu, Hon Ashir, and more. His home in Jerusalem was later used by Rabbeinu Chaim ben Atar for his famed yeshiva, Knesset Yisrael.
