Rare! First Time in Auctions: Letter by the Pious Rebbetzin Rachel Levi'ah Rabinowitz referring to Her Husband the Admor Author of the Divrei Binah of Biala - 4 Pages handwritten by Her!

Lengthy letter by the Pious Rebbetzin Rachel Levi'ah Rabinowitz, the wife of the Admor Author of the Divrei Binah of Biala, addressed to her daughter - Chanaleh, the wife of the Admor Rabbi Yosef Zvi Kalisch of Sakranovich - with reference to her husband Maran the Admor of Biala. 


"בשעה טובה מצלחת מיט פרנסה טובה שפע ברכה מיט גיזנד" lengthy letter discussing family matters and with warm blessings, with reference to her husband Maran the Admor author of the Divrei Binah of Biala and to "the Rav of Kozmer". 

 

Double leaf, 4 pp handwritten by her. 

13X21 cm. 

Good condition. 


The Pious Rebbetzin Rachel Levi'ah (ca. 1850-1930) the only daughter of the Admor Rabbi Yehoshua of Ostrova, who was known in Poland as the Noam Elimelech Hakatan and the granddaughter of the Admor Rabbi Shomo Leib of Lentsha. It is told that her father waited for children for many years, until he came to the Admor of Vorka, who greeted him warmly and informed him that a daughter would be born to him. After his daughter was born, Rabbeinu returned to Vorka, and this time the Admor ordered him to name her "Rachel Levi'ah". She married the Admor, Maran the Divrei Binah of Biala and their wedding was one of the largest in Poland in those days. The pious Rebbetzin had a long life, passing away in 1930, many years after her husband who passed away in 1905.
