On verso of the title page, an illustration of the palm which does not appear in all copies of this rare and important book - first edition, Amsterdam 1706. [2], 14 leaves.
In several places inside the book, there are handwritten sketches - apparently by the author or someone on his behalf, from the time of printing. See pictures.
Darkened last leaf. Some stains. In 2 pages Cutting [during the printing process?] affecting the lower edge of the text. Some professionally restored moth damage, slightly afffecting the text. Good overall condition. Nice new cover with leather-like spine and corners.
