Анна Аркадьевна Давыдова (1888-1963) — художница-иллюстратор классического направления. Училась в Киевской рисовальной школе у Н.И. Мурашко, в Киевском художественном училище у Н.К. Пимоненко и И.Ф. Селезнева, в Москве в студии К.Ф. Юона, училась в Мюнхене, Дрездене, Риме. В 1935 году начинает работать как профессиональный художник-иллюстратор детской литературы. Сотрудничала с Тульским книжным издательством со дня его основания.
