Условно хорошее состояние. Утрачены страницы 15-16, 137-140, одна вклейка с картой. Переплет сильно загрязнен. Утрачен корешок. Сгиб форзаца проклеен тканевой полоской. Утрачен уголок страницы 3-4. Страницы 13-14, 133-136 отделены от блока, потрепаны по краям. Утрачены уголки страниц 133-136. Страницы 151-154 вклеены не на свое место, идут после страницы 163. Края нескольких страниц немного потрепаны. На страницах встречаются загрязнения.
Великолепно иллюстрированное издание, рассказывающее об истории России за 11 столетий: от 862 года до 1903 года, от князя Рюрика до Николая II. В книге представлены портреты князей, царей и императоров, литографии с историческими сюжетами работы живописца Алексея Даниловича Кившенко (1851-1895). Альбому была присуждена высшая награда – «Почетный диплом» первой Всероссийской Выставкой Монастырских работ и церковной утвари и золотая медаль на Международной выставке 1904 года в Париже.
