В целом хорошее состояние. Утрачены крупные фрагменты (около 2/3) у страниц 37-44 второго счета. Списанный библиотечный экземпляр. Переплет загрязнен, потерт; края и углы побиты. Кармашек на форзаце. Библиотечные штампы и пометы на форзаце, титульном листе и отдельных страницах. Лисьи пятна. Загибы уголков страниц. На страницах встречаются подчеркивания, владельческие пометы карандашом. Помета чернилами на нахзаце.
Василий Христофорович Кондараки (1834-1866). — крымский краевед, писатель, этнограф, член Императорского Русского географического общества, Московского общества древнерусского искусства, Одесского общества истории и древностей (член-корреспондент с 1868 года, действительный член с 1876 года). Неполная библиография его трудов по этнографии, истории и природе Крыма составляет более 20 книг и свыше 70 статей, опубликованных в различных периодических изданиях.
