В целом хорошее состояние. Обложка немного надорвана у корешка, потерта; уголки помяты. Утрачен уголок на одной из страниц. На страницах встречаются небольшие загрязнения.
Николай Иванович Брюханов (1918-2004) — российский и советский художник книги, график, заслуженный деятель искусств Карельской АССР. Член Союза художников СССР. В издательстве «Карелия» Н. Брюханов оформил более 100 книг. Особое место в его работе занимал карельский фольклор.
