Состояние условно хорошее. Потертости и заломы обложки. Пятна и следы влаги на листах. Надрывы краев листов. Следы реставрации. Все вклейки присутствуют.
Краткие жизнеописания исторических фигур XIV-XIX вв, от Максимилиана I и Лютера до Рихарда Вагнера и Ольги Николаевны, княгини Вюртембергской. 200 цветных миниатюр-портретов, наклеенных на листы с текстом. Некоторые золотофонные. Обложка с золотым тиснением.
