Archie Blackowl Gouache on Paper Painting, Signed
For your consideration, a signed Archie Blackowl original gouache on paper painting. Archie Blackowl was a Native American Artist from Oklahoma who lived from 1911-1992. According to Wikipedia, "Blackowl was best known for his stylized dancers adorned with traditional regalia and lack of backgrounds, as well as works upon the unforgiving blackboard', of which this is one. The painting shows a Native American in full dance regalia, painted in profile over black. The painting is signed, "A. Blackowl"; it measures 9.25" x 11.75" and is in good condition.
