After 34 successful auctions with countless world record prices for cameras, I handed the camera auctions over to a group, also to concentrate on the WestLicht Photo and Camera Museum, the OstLicht Photo Gallery and the OstLicht Photo Auctions. However, when I was recently offered a private lover's fantastic collection, I couldn't resist the temptation. Especially since this man acquired most of the pieces he collected from me over the course of many years and always attached great importance to perfect condition and originality. There is not much information about his super rare 800mm tele lens for Canon rangefinder or SLR cameras. Less than five of these lenses are known to exist. The offered lens is very good condition with clean optics, it is mounted on a Canon Canonflex R2000 camera (the first SLR with a 1/2000s shutter) no.53560 and is complete with the original wooden box. The outfit was owned and used by the famous Swedish photographer Lennard Nilsson.
