Rav Kalfon [1730-1819] was born in Livorno and circumsiced by Rav Chaim Ben Atar author of "Or Hachaim". He was a leading Rav of Tripoli. He wrote the famous book "Chai Avraham" on Taamei Mitzvot and Maasei Zadikim" and "Leket Kazir".
