The Medeiros e Almeida House-Museum has in its collection a painting that represents this landscape entitled "A Baixa - Lisboa", seen from a different angle, with the following text by Cristina Carvalho:
" The painter represents here one of his favorite views of Lisbon, painted several times, from a balcony on the sidewalk of Marquês de Tancos from where you can see all the houses as far as the Tagus, which imposes itself as a background. Arch on Rua Augusta, the skylight of the Lisbon City Hall and even the bell towers of a church (São Paulo?), transposed here in an exercise of creativity in interpreting his vision of Lisbon."
