A long scholarly letter and words of salvation from the genius Rabbi Binyamin Ullman ben HaYeriot Shlomo - 1777 (1867)
A letter in the handwriting and signature of the Gaon Rabbi Binyamin Ullman ben HaYeriot Shlomo. In the first part of the letter, he is addressed to his mother ("Li'eba mu'ter to Iaban Amos") and asks for peace, while in the second part he turns to his brother the Gaon Rabbi Yisrael and asks for his peace, after which he writes Torah words about 'who is scattered'. He also asks his brother "that you write Torah words for me in my kind "Damshikha... at least a small thing"...
At the end of the letter, he turns to his sister 'Balimla' (wife of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Buldava) and gives him a greeting from his wife.
Specifications: [1] A large sheet folded in half, three written pages and one page with the name and address of the writers, the postmarks and a red wax seal (with paper glued on the back.) Page size: 33/20 cm.
Condition: good - average, defects made on the page by the sharpness of the ink.
