A letter signed by the holy hand of the holy rabbi Rabbi Moshe Mordechai of Laalov - 1977
Letter of consent for a booklet on the importance of speaking in the 'Yiddish' language by Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Biderman of Laalov, 1978.
In the letter written on a 'typewriter', the Rebbe expresses his opinion in short words "that every God-fearing man shall not change the language of his fathers, and shall educate his sons and daughters from childhood in the Yiddish language...
This letter was signed by the Rebbe with his own signature, with his holy name: "Moshe Mordechai Biderman".
Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Biderman of Laalov (1773 - 5777) was the sixth rebbe of Laalov and rabbi of some of the Karlin followers, known for his righteousness and holiness and his lofty steps.
Our Rebbe was born in the year 1773, in Jerusalem to his father, the Rebbe Rabbi Shimon Natan Neta, after his mother died in his childhood and his father went to Krakow, he was left to live in the house of his old man, Rabbi David Biderman, who was the leader of the Chassidim community in Jerusalem and invested a lot in the education of our Rebbe.
Already from his youth he was known for his enormous diligence and spent night and day in continuous study of Torah and work, at night he established his place in the famous kabbalist yeshiva 'Shear Hashemim', and at the age of seventeen he was ordained to teach by Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook.
After the departure of Rebbe Rabbi David Biderman, our Rebbe went to Krakow where he married his step-sister, the daughter of his father's second wife. During this period of time, he was surrounded by the image of several famous tzaddiks of the generation such as the Rebbe of Belza, and the Rebbe of Kaznitz, but his outstanding rabbi was Rebbe Rabbi Avraham Elimelech of Karlin.
After the death of his father in the year 1737, our rabbi was crowned as his successor, he became known as a righteous man and a worker of salvation and was revered and the great men of the generation adored him and praised him.
Details: two pieces of paper glued together on a sheet of white paper, on one appears the Rebbe's 'logo' and a date, and on the other - the body of the letter and the signature of our Rebbe's holy hand.
Condition: Good, creases and folds.
