Thomas Rose Miles (British, 1844-1916). Marine painting of ships tossing on the waves of a turbulent ocean titled "Fishing Boat off Coast in Heavy Seas." Possibly depicting the lighthouse and harbor at Scarborough in North Yorkshire. Signed along the lower left.
