PAIR OF MINI WALL LAMPS BY BENT KARLBY FOR LYFA AS, DENMARK #2
A pair of iconic space age mini wall lamps by Bent Karlby for Lyfa AS, from Denmark circa 1970s. Both lamps have been tested and are in working condition with mismatched wiring. They do show minor wear shown in photos. Danish architect-designer Bent Karlby was born in Århus in 1912 and graduated from his hometown's technical school around 1932. During World War II, he joined the Danish resistance movement, contributing to the illegal Danish Journal and assisting Dansk-Svensk refugees. LYFA is a visionary home of iconic classics from some of Denmark's most influential lighting designers. Each light measures 7'' H x 5'' W x 9'' D.
