Numerous Handwritten Notations in Margins of Sefer "Levushei Srad"

Sefer "Simlah Chadasha" and "Levushei Srad" on Hilchos Treifus Hareyah, with many handwritten comments on sefer's pages. Besides for these written comments, whoever wrote them also divided sefer Simlah Chadasha into thirty sections in such a way that the entire sefer could be learned in thirty days. It is instructed in the holy sefarim that each Shochet Ubodek must constantly review this sefer, which must be the reason for this thirty-day division. The manner in which the learning should be divided is written in by hand on the page margins.

Levushei Srad, Russia-Poland edition, around 5590 [1890]. 102 pages. 36 cm. A portion of the notations are faded, folds in page corners, a few moth stains, water stains and stains of age. New binding. Mediocre condition.

Stefansky, Sifrei Chassidus #259
