A stamped metal badge with a bronze wash, commemorating, as indicated in script along , the "H.J. AUFMARSCH HAMBURG"," EIN WEIHUNG DER JUG. HERBERGE HEIN GODENWIND" for, as indicated along the top, "8. APRIL 1934." (Deployment Hamburg. Inauguration of the youth hostel "Hein Godenwind"). Stylized Viking boat drakkar with a HJ pin on the sail. To the unmarked reverse is a horizontal pin-back device.
